Common questions.
- How long is each training block?
- Each block is 4 weeks. Programming auto-renews every 4 weeks so there's no gap between blocks.
- What happens after I purchase?
- You'll complete the ECP athlete intake — it covers your training background, equipment access, strength levels, and BMX-specific details. Your first 4-week block is built from that intake and delivered through the app.
- What's the difference between the packages?
- Base gives you gym and sprint programming. Performance adds track programming, PR tracking, VBT, sprint time logging, and video reviews. Premium adds full coaching access — weekly calls, race day video review, and direct text/FaceTime access to your coach.
- I don't have track access. Which package should I pick?
- Base is built for athletes who train in the gym and sprint but don't ride track. If you also want tracking tools without track programming, check out the individual programs page.
- What if I don't have much gym equipment?
- The system matches exercises to your equipment. During intake, you tell us exactly what you have access to — from a basic dumbbell setup to a full commercial gym. Your programming only includes exercises you can actually do.
- Can I change exercises in my program?
- Yes. If an exercise doesn't work for you, reach out via email. Athletes on Performance or Premium can send video for form checks and substitution recommendations.
- Do I need a VBT device?
- No. VBT integration is available on Performance and Premium for athletes who have a velocity-based training device. If you don't have one, your programming uses percentage-based or RPE prescriptions instead.
- What equipment do I need for sprint & track time analysis?
- Sprint time analysis requires a laser timing system for sprint data. Track time analysis uses the Sqorz timing system used at BMX tracks. Both are available on Performance and Premium. If you don't have timing equipment, the rest of your programming works the same.
- How does the event tier taper work?
- You enter your race dates into the Events tab and assign each one a tier. Tier 1 is reserved for your biggest events — World Championships, National Championships, World Cups, or Olympics. Tier 2 covers major races on the national circuit. Tier 3 is for regular national stops, Gold Cups, or state finals. The system automatically adjusts your training volume based on the tier.
- What is the 3-block commitment?
- You pay once for 3 blocks (12 weeks) of programming at a reduced rate. After your 3 blocks are complete, your subscription continues at the standard monthly rate. Founding athletes who commit to 3 blocks lock in current pricing for life — even if rates increase later.
- Is this a subscription? How do I cancel?
- Yes, training renews automatically every 4 weeks. You can cancel anytime from your account — your access continues through the end of your current block. No partial refunds are issued for unused time within a block. We recommend a minimum of 3 consecutive months to see clear, measurable progress.
- I'm new to structured training. Which package should I start with?
- If you train in the gym and sprint, Base is a great starting point. If you also ride track, Performance gives you the full package. You can upgrade anytime.
